I love to be able to stream my movies through my phone or my computer to my television. I do wish I could purchase movies through my apps, but the clarity and everything with this is excellent, thank you!

Great app and works really well. Just wish I could download for offline viewing on both my iPad and iPhone for offline viewing for the 48 hours

Download only option permanently locks it up. So many bugs as is common with Google, Apple, and Microsoft. Horrible app.

I love this app.

For how long this app has existed there should be a buy button. There is no excuse.

This app rocks

I want to love this app, because I have gotten substantial gift cards for Google Play and I love my google chromecast. I would prefer to use that for my content; however, the customer service has gone from great to awful. They are routinely days to weeks late supplying content, unlike other content providers. If they would just refund for the series they dont update, I would have no problem, but getting a refund is almost impossible, even though the problem is theirs. They dont have a real person behind their emails, and they dont respond to their tweets or direct message on twitter, unlike other reputable companies. If you can get a hold of a person by deep diving for the customer service number, they will not care or in any way try to make up for the inconvenience. Pretty much if you dont like paying for content that isnt provided as agreed, you are just out of luck. This is the complete opposite of my experience with Amazon. They will be getting my business from now on.

Works great with our tv that allows us to cast and theres promos a lot that allow us to rent new movies.

I love the new google play movies update and I love the black theme if only we could switch it between the. I found one in the black team that would be really cool ? thanks google ?

The app is fine and all but why cant we buy movies in the app? It seems like a feature that should be there but its not.

Just a heads-up; when streaming purchases, the sound is in mono only. The only way to get stereo sound is to download the purchase to your iOS device. This is true on the YouTube app as well when streaming purchases. Also, due to "licensing issues" all downloads are limited to 720p only on iOS. Finally, there is no option to auto play episodes of shows after one episode ends (this is referred to as binge watch mode on Android); you have to click the next episode to start. This seems like a very basic version of the Google Play Movies & TV app for Android, but it is missing many key features (no stereo sound when streaming, no binge watch mode, no playlists). You are much better off with a different digital locker for your purchases. Googles digital locker is severely lacking and outdated compared to its competitors. At this point, I really regret choosing Google Play for my digital purchases and should have gone with Amazon Video, as it is a much better app.

My only complaint; we should be able to buy movies through the app. The app should be an alternative to having to go to the actual website to buy things to buy things on TV. I looked everywhere on the app for a movie I wanted to buy just for it to tell me that the app does not support in-app purchases & I had to go online. Its just that I really like the app and I definitely appreciate that I can watch on my TV via the ROKU system, chromecast availability etc, but please make that adjustment, thank you.

Like to watch movies and tv shows without cable cuz it costs too much but with this you can watch any show or movie for free loses connection sometimes but I think it is just because of terrible internet connection

I have an android phone and an apple tablet. Its strange to me that google doesnt allow movie purchases in this app. It might not be googles fault but this is the reason for 3 stars. I have to buy on the web or using phone. Happy this has chrome cast Support.

Doest show the movies I have rented so I can watch them. Cant purchase or rent movies within the app.

Wi buy digital movies on most platforms. Im glad google has their movie app for my iPad. The app does everything I expect it to on my android phone.

Why are there no in app purchases? What exactly is the point of this app if I cant watch anything?
