Google TV: Watch Movies & TV App Reviews

I love having a library available and now not having to pack it up when we move is great! My offline content is available when I want to entertain myself or keep my kiddo occupied. I think some folks are confusing their interface with apple and the actual "Google TV/Movies". Out of all our video programs, this one is the best.

Why can’t you purchase from this app! I don’t need an app to watch. I stream so why should I go elsewhere to buy then another app to watch it?

Wish there is option to Hide or delete movies like present in android mobile

I wish we were able to actually pay for the movies and shows on this app instead of having to do it elsewhere.

You cant make purchases through this app on an iPhone.

No airplay support and cant purchase in app. Needs apple TV app.

App runs smoothly and has a few nice features (such as the ability to "pin" a movie to the screen), but the library that is available for purchase is somewhat more limited than expected.

Wish I had more control over the movies and information. Makes me wanna use Android way more.

I’d like the app just fine if I didn’t have to keep going to the google play store to rent every time. It’s annoying.

It’s confusing why Google would even roll out such a poor streaming system. They are embarrassingly behind Apple, Amazon, Netflix and Hulu. It’s taken me almost 3 hours to watch a movie because of how much it freezes and shuts down.

Great app. Simple and solid.

I love that I am able to rent a movie and download it so I or kids can watch in the car!

I love that I can play the movies anywhere and theres no buffering during the movie! A HUGE plus!

Only buying from iTunes from now on. Bought a movie so I could download it and watch without internet. Downloaded on my iPad, and all the sudden "my offline capabilities have expired". Their help center is also extremely unhelpful and did not resolve the issue.

Why why why why you have to get from google play why?...

I love the app being able to watch the movies where ever I am however I would like to be able to buy or rent a movie on the app similar to the iTunes app

How do you WATCH the movie instead of the trailer ??

App just hangs after selecting a show. Also takes a very long time to just go through menus to select something. Seems to be waiting for a timeout (more than a min )
