Videos won’t download for off-line use

No cast button...

Everything is “add to list.” Even movies that have been our for 20 years. There is no content, it’s all “coming soon.”

Videos rarely make it beyond a couple of minutes before saying I’m not connected to the internet. I have no troubles with other video players like Netflix or YouTube. My husband has an Android and it plays no problem on the same internet connection.

So I am so glad I don’t have to buy stuff twice or forget what I have on another device. This app is the only reason I keep buying iPhones. I sure would use another device if this app didn’t exist!

It’s unfortunate that Apple is so greedy with taking profit from purchases within apps on iOS. They’re essentially ruining the experience for users within their ecosystem. Huge companies like Amazon, Google, and Twitch just say forget; users can’t make in app purchases on iOS; they can only purchase from the web and android. It’s just yet another incentive to leave Apple behind and switch to Android once and for all: a better overall experience.

It is so irritating that I have to scrub for the scene that I need, but even the scrubbing is not accurate enough. It can cast well, which is good, but please!!! Have a skip-seconds ability or have a scene selection?

I, like man people, watch my shows over and over. It would be so nice if this platform remembered what episode I watched last and where I was. Every time I start the app it opens to the first episode of the last season, regardless of what episode/season I watched last.

Just pirate the movies, you can’t buy them on IOS even if you want to pay stupidly high prices. Fake app.

Google has update many of their apps to support iPhone X, yet nothing for their TV and Movie app.

The iPhone X has been out for months, and a simple video app hasnt been updated to fill the screen (pretty important for a video app). Also, like most Google products, has many rough edges. Toggling "Downloaded Only" and trying to browse your library locks the app for tens of seconds- this bug has existed for at least a year.

Needs update for iPhone X doesn’t fit the screen.

Functionality works, but an app built to watch videos should use the entire screen available on the device.

Really great app but it doesn’t have iPhone X support and the picture is sooo small. Would really appreciate an update

Where the hell is the iPhone X support? This is just lazy on the Play Movies team, its been months since the iPhone X was released and developers knew of the new resolution well before the devices release. I want to use the Google Play movies app, but theyre making my look up my content via YouTube under purchases. I want to access my purchases via GP Movies and I want Dolby 5.1 sound output (for casting, airplay, and lightning to HDMI output). Get it together GP Movies.

This app really needs iPhone X support. I know I can use the YouTube app and I have been to watch all of my Google Play Movies purchases. I just think if your going to keep the Play Movies app around it really should support the iPhone X since it has the biggest, highest resolution display of any iPhone.
