I love it, but when I connect my projector theres no image only audio, please I need goggle play in my home theater

Not User Friendly

The Google app designers have a lot of work to do to make this app more user friendly. It doesnt seem to link to my Google Play account because all movies and shows require purchase before viewing (understandable), but nowhere to purchase. Do I have the use a browser to purchase then switch back to the app? Secondly, the different pages on this app are sparse. You can Watch Now or you can go to your Wishlist. What if I want to see recommendations, view new releases, or search by genre? This app needs to take a look at Netflix instead of trying to reinvent the wheel. Finally, it seems like a waste to have Google Music and Google Movies and TV on separate apps. Take a note from iTunes and have a general Store. The only reason I downloaded these apps was because I am a Chromecast user, but Im quickly considering the switch to Apple TV. Keep working on it, Google!

Excellent app. Ads are informative.

Willing to live with ads rather than going red. Willing to pay for Google services except this one. App is excellent, but just like cable or fiber, I am satisfied for now with broadcast HD. Might change mind in 2016...maybe, just do not like any push messages in any apps since what I really like is found in the guestimation of algorithms. Let me choose.

Say what?

I thought I was downloading google movie app to watch movies but it says you can only watch movies added here from google play. I dont get it. The developers must smoking crack when they created this app.

Extremely slow and buggy

It is obvious the Google developers dont actually use this app. I have quite a few movies and TV shows and the app is soooooo slow when it updates that the app becomes unresponsive. When it is downloading new shows or updating images nothing works. The app doesnt track the last episode watched or where you left off. There is no where to hide shows from showing up that I may not want cluttering the UI. The downloaded episodes didnt show all the episodes I downlosded. If you have purchased a lot of visual media from Google it is a horrible experience. Im thinking about leaving the Google platform for someone else that puts effort and testing into their app.

Not user friendly or intuitive

Disappointing product. Forces you to rent through Google play...cant resume rented movies if you lose network connection and cant skip forward on the movie...instead it pages over to the previous screen. Since you cannot skip ahead on the app, I thought Id use the 45mins of free time I have while re watching the beginning of my rented movie to leave this review.

What happened to the interface?

This used to be really easy to use for TV shows--it would put your new episodes right on the first screen. Now the first screen is all about trying to sell you more. As a user and customer Im hurt by this reduction of functionality to try and squeeze in a few more deals. Probably wont buy anything else off Google Play from here on out.

No purchasing?

I will be happy when you guys find a way to allow purchasing through the app.

Okay

This app could be so good, but is so mediocre. First, this app is not optimized for iPad pro, so you wont be taking full advantage of the large screen and high resolution. Second, videos are not available for picture-in-picture mode like all other video apps are. Videos stop playing when multitasking or pulling up the task bar. Lastly, downloading is iffy at best, and Im never certain that the movies I download will actually be available once Im away from wifi.

Apples fail

As I am new to the apple experience, I downloaded this google play app to my iPhone 6s. Ive always had a google phone and this app is a standard preloaded app on mostly all Google devices, and it works great. You can buy or rent directly from the app, and play your content as soon as its downloaded or stream it then. But here, on apple an device, this app is terrible. You have to go to google play from anther device (not an apple) and buy or rent, then come back to the app on the apple device to stream, download, or chromcast. Its too much, and furstrating. Especially when I know this app is great on all Google devices.

Buggy

So frustrating to use. Its ironic to find it so difficult to cast to my Chromecast from this app!

Absolutely Wonderful

I love this so much. It lets you buy the movies and even download them for offline use. Its amazing.

Bug

I download some movies for offline viewing, and if I happen to press the Home button while watching a movie, Ill lose the downloaded movies. This has happened on more than two iDevices I have too.

they must have one person working on this app

its unbelievably slow, buggy, crashes constantly. At least when you start a movie it plays all the way through, but Im guessing thats not on purpose. Ive seen better software in googles software template library. if youre going to use a web based interface then use local storage for C sakes, its crazy to have this kind of lag on update, and to reason its so laggy on scroll is because youre rendering on every move instead of waiting to render after move. please add more people to this project Google.

Good app

You can buy the movie from your browser chrome or safari. Then it shows up in this app. I used it to watch Steve Jobs ironically and airplayed it to my AppleTV.

Good, but one thing...

Its good, but it wouldve been better if it would let you have a movie after you rent it for a little longer.
