Nice app but missing features

I wanted to buy a newly released movie in Ultra-HD 4K. Was looking for a way to download the movie to iOS devices to watch on the road or stream it to a Samsung 4K UHD TV.

It looked like Google was the only site that supported all these and let you buy the movie in 4K format.

After purchasing I realized a) Samsung TVs Google Play app doesnt support UHD-4K playback and b) the iOS app (which downloads the regular HD version) doesnt have any way to rewind/fast forward by N seconds (10, 15, 30, or 60) so you can skip things or go back and re-watch them. This seems like its a pretty basic feature in video players nowadays. Im surprised its missing here.

Once you pause the app the tracking slider is also very small and coarse-grain. Very hard to just go back or forward a little. A good implementation of this feature is in the Amazon iPad app.

Hopefully Google will fix these issues in a subsequent release.
