So I am so glad I don’t have to buy stuff twice or forget what I have on another device. This app is the only reason I keep buying iPhones. I sure would use another device if this app didn’t exist!
It’s unfortunate that Apple is so greedy with taking profit from purchases within apps on iOS. They’re essentially ruining the experience for users within their ecosystem. Huge companies like Amazon, Google, and Twitch just say forget; users can’t make in app purchases on iOS; they can only purchase from the web and android. It’s just yet another incentive to leave Apple behind and switch to Android once and for all: a better overall experience.
I, like man people, watch my shows over and over. It would be so nice if this platform remembered what episode I watched last and where I was. Every time I start the app it opens to the first episode of the last season, regardless of what episode/season I watched last.
Really great app but it doesn’t have iPhone X support and the picture is sooo small. Would really appreciate an update
Though while trying to play this from my phone to my Apple box, it pauses through the movie or tv show I’m watching. But love the app with the cast to the smart tv. Just wanted to let u know about the glitch with casting from the phone to the Apple box. I wanted to add for those that use google play music and get the YouTube as well. Allow the YouTube to access your purchases. You’ll be able to watch them on your YouTube page. Just realized that.
As an iPhone user, I was distraught I couldn’t chromecast movies I rented on iTunes. I made a wild guess and looked this up—finding it on a whim. I get to rent movies, watch them on my TV, and the curious cat who obsesses over the cast that I am is satisfied by the app showing me which stars are on screen at all times. Could only be happier if this was advertised better so I didn’t waste so much money on iTunes.

Some bad moments

Will this app ever be available for Apple TV? GooglePlay is the only place I can find King Of The Hill seasons , and I want to be able to watch them on my Apple TV. Can Apple either allow google play to work on the Apple TV, or offer king of the hill in iTunes ?
I downloaded the app hearing that it would be able to show me where to find shows and movies regardless of where I stream it. Thanks but gonna get a different app.
It’s kind of lame that you cant use the app without going through a browser, renting a show then going back to the app to cast/stream. This simple fix would make it way better.
I love the app but there is no iPhone X support! Will change my review once updated.
It’s ridiculous that this doesn’t have the same level of basic functionality as the YouTube app.
Cannot purchase or rent items from the app. Very inconvenient and not user friendly. The “how do I watch this” link on an item page does not even answer the question. It merely states that purchasing is not supported on this device. What’s the easiest way to rent/buy a movie and watch it? Without a streamlined solution the end-user is going to default to the Apple iTunes Store. Hope your happy Alphabet!
